Proposal 3️⃣ Regarding the Initial Settings for Endless Mode

In this series, I’ll be sharing three posts about my ideas for this proposal. I welcome your feedback. This is Part 3: “Custom Time Mode.”

1. Enable Custom Start Time (The game will start at the time you specify)

Core Feature: The system will use the time selected by the player as the game’s starting time (time format: local time 00:00:00 — all three fields are required ). The remaining save and load mechanics are the same as in Part 2️⃣ (As for why I’m splitting this into three parts: since Parts 1 and 2 are already quite long, adding such a small section would likely go unnoticed, so I’m releasing them separately 🙃).

The following content is the same; new controllers can take a look ⬇️

1A. Save Mechanism: Unlike Part 1️⃣,after saving the game this time, the system will retain all data for flight schedules that haven’t been executed yet, along with the accumulated days of command. (New flights won’t appear out of nowhere as time-based updates when you next open the game ; new flights will only refresh after you’ve played for more than 5 minutes following a load. The same applies to the apron— departure instructions will only be issued again after playing for more than 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the system will generate a new schedule for the following hour )

1B. Load Mechanism: When you open a saved game, the system will retain the game time from the last save and all flight data from the previous flight schedule ( unlike in Part 1, certain data will no longer be deferred; the game will resume a new round of play based on the previously saved state )

  • Other: The core purpose of this mechanism is to preserve the game time and state from the last save. After loading the save, the game will continue from that state, achieving true "seamless continuity"

  • Similarly, it is recommended to include a prominent prompt in the notification window when loading a save,

e.g .: “「❕」Welcome back, Air Traffic Controller. [XX] flights have accumulated while you were away ; please prioritize them. Additional flights will arrive in five minutes.”

That concludes the detailed introduction to Part 3️⃣ of the “Random Time Mode” 🙃. With this, all content has been released. Thank you to all air traffic controllers for watching (*๓´╰╯`๓)♡

☆☆☆ Whether this can be implemented depends on the dev team ੭ ᐕ)੭*⁾⁾☆☆☆

Wishing the development team all the best! ❤️
