Mainstream designs typically use the right or middle mouse button combined with dragging to move the camera; however, this game uses left-click dragging to move the camera, leaving the right mouse button unused—this is the first instance of UX design that goes against intuitive operation.
The bigger issue with this design is that, since the left mouse button is used to control the camera, the game ’s windowed mode—which features a title bar—effectively rejects the default logic of using left-click dragging to adjust position and size. Instead, it introduces an additional “window editing mode.”
In my opinion, a more reasonable design would be to control the camera view by dragging with the right mouse button, freeing up the left mouse button to control various UI components.
